Cranes
Cranes are birds of passage and often referred to as 'birds of luck'. They can reach an age of up to 30 years and are well known from Sweden to Japan.
"Darss Ark"
The former school building was reconditioned and a long structure of wood, steel and glass which resembles a ship was attached. Both buildings house a unique national park and tourist information centre.
